Variations of betting series

As I pointed out, the number of variations of the New York system can be broken down into any number of categories, depending on the bankroll of each individual. The basic idea, though, should never be changed.

Just be sure you regress your second bet in a series (after a win), to take advantage of getting into a winning position.

Each person's own theory of betting will apply. Some may want to bet aggressively, while others will opt for a more conservative approach. Neither side is wrong. As you become more and more proficient in the game of Blackjack, you may want to increase your bets, because you will definitely minimize your losses, and have higher bankrolls with which to start.

However, in the beginning, I strongly urge you to bet small until you master the series that you will concentrate on.

There is plenty of time to go for the big wins. In the beginning, learn how to win.
I have broken down several variations of betting series, and one or more of these may appeal to you.

Remember the basic rules:

1.    The first bet at a table or session, is called a series.
2.    If you lose the first hand, that series is over, although it consists of only one hand.
3.    Never lose more than the first four hands at a session. If you lose the first four hands, leave that table.
4.    If you win the first hand in a series, regress your second bet.
5.    If you lose a series, always revert back to an amount higher than the table minimum, but never higher than the first bet of the previous series.
6.    When you lose 40% of your session money, that session is over. But, that doesn't mean that you have to stay at that table to lose the whole 40%. You  can kill a session after you have lost 30%, and the dealer continues to turn over power cards.
7.    After you win approximately 30% of the amount of your starting session money, divide your profit in half. Put one half aside, never to be touched again at that session. Play with the other half until it is finished.
8.    After the split of your profit, if you continue to win, add one half of these winnings to your profit pile, and the balance remains in play with your excess.

Go over these rules repeatedly, until you have them memorized.
