Summary on D'Alembert System
Finally, let's base our series on the fact that you can find a table that has a $2 or $1 minimum on the outside wagers. In this case, I'm talking to the majority of players, as you high rollers are already writing out super aggressive series.
At these lower minimum tables, you will be able to stretch out your series to compensate for the absence of the high required first bet. For example:
TWO DOLLAR TABLE (Minimum)
a. Aggressive. $2 $4$6$8$10$12(Max. $12)
b. Semi Aggressive $2 $3 $5 $8 $12 (Max. $12)
c. Normal $2 $3 $5 $7 $10(Max. $10)
d. Conservative $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 (Max. $7)
Notice the Loss Limit is still set, even though you are at similar minimum tables. Sure, I know the winning amounts will not be high, but will you please accept the theory of minimizing losses and accepting small wins as opposed to your previous helter skelter approach?
Look at the conservative Method D. Even allowing for a six bet loss possibility, your total possible maximum loss can only be $27. If you were to use the Mar
tingale System and still lose, you could be out $126 for the same number of straight losses, which you'd better realize is possible.
At the $1 minimum table, your total possible loss amounts could be lower:
a. Aggressive
$1 $2 $4 $7 $11 $16 (Max. $16)
b. Conservative
$1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 (Max. $7)
The important thing is to realize the theory:
a. Always play on a 50 50 betting proposition.
b. Be sure to preset your maximum bet.
c. Write on your pad a unit, or dollar amount bet
d. If lose, increase next bet one (1) unit or predetermined dollar amount.
e. If lose, write amount of your next bet on pad.
f. If win, cross out winning amount on pad and bet next lowest amount.
g. When all numbers in series are completed by being crossed off, series is over. Start new one by writing starting number (or bet).
h. Stay within the confines of your session money, and never lose more than 50% of session bankroll.
i. If En Prison Rule comes up in middle of your series, treat it just like a tie and do not change your series bet. Let it ride until decision is reached.
j. If you'd like, come up with your own series line.
Be sure you understand that a unit can be $1, $2, $5, $10, or whatever amount you make it.
If you have a larger bankroll, you can incorporate a Series that starts with $10 and runs on similar increases.
$10 $20 $30 $40 $50 (Max. $ 100)
There is a multitude of betting lines you can use.
